This is the reason I got started doing what I'm doing.
This is Miss Luster McCue. She was my sidekick for all of my teenage years. In this picture she is helping
me give up my Rodeo Queen title that she helped me earn the year before. She was my best friend, shoulder to cry on
(big one), and my teacher. She luckily was around long enough to help teach my oldest how much fun riding can be.
She was his first mount for his first show. She pasted away alittle over a year ago at age 26, and there is not
a day goes by that I don't remember and miss her. Now, I want to be able to show other kids how much fun and healing
having a horse as a friend can be.

OUR MISSION:
Our Mission is to bring a second chance to abused and neglected horses. We also want to give them
the opportunity to have the long and happy life that they deserve, and possibly help a child in need in the process.
Our dream is to take care of the horses specific needs and train them to help troubled children. The kids will
come in and be matched with a horse based on their individual needs. The children will work with them,
brushing, grooming, riding, feeding their horse, and also be responsible for the basic care of the horse (under our supervision).
In this way the child can connect with the animals and realize that they both have a very similar past. The
children will realize that everything deserves to be loved and cared for, and that they can do great things with just a chance.
It will also help the kids learn to trust something other then themselves. This kind of therapy can not only children
with a troubled past, but also kids with various handicaps and disabilities. The horses that are unable to be
used for the day camp will be cared for to the best of our ability and put up for adoption....But I need your help.
I can not do it alone. We need donations, whether it be in the form of money or product, or even by sponsoring a horse.
Any help is great, and remember it's tax deductible. I have been doing all I can on my own, out of my own pocket and by selling
Avon. Unfortunately, my pockets are only so deep. So, please..PLEASE...if you can, any help is greatly appreciated.
You can send donations to the address below or you can buy Avon and put my phone number in as the representative number so
that I will get credit. The funds from the Avon wil goes to the horses. There is a list of items
that we need below.
Don't forget to look at the rest of our horses and critters on the next few pages.

This is Zues' story:
This is Zues, a 7 year old Morab. He came to us in April 06. He has had it kinda rough. The
poor guy is very accident prone. He has had to have major cannon surgery for a fracture and was turned out to pasture
and left. He was very VERY wormy, slight rain rot, and very underweight. Even the sheen had left his coat. But
now, as you can see, after a few de-wormings and some major groceries he is turning into the Greek God he deserves to be.
To my knowledge, he was led around with kids on his back before, but with no saddle. We are getting him used to the
saddle and having his feet done.We waited to try this until he had put on some more weight and felt up to it. He
will never be able to be ridden by an adult, but he will make a child a good mount one day, or even a sidekick, he will fallow
you around the pasture like a puppy dog and likes to run circles around you to make you stop and pet him.
