Phoenix Story:
This is Phoenix, she is a 6 year old QH mare. When she arrived, as you
can see she was VERY underweight, had severe rain rot, bad feet and teeth, very wormy, she was barely halter broke, and not
broke for riding. She has an indentation in her neck form where she had been shot by a former owner and was so untrusting
that you couldn't hardly get a finger on her. She was saved from White county do to obvious neglected and was so weak when
she was picked up to be removed that it took 6 grown men to physically pick her up and put her in the trailer. But as you
can see She is doing much much better, she is now ride able, loves being pet on and fed cookies. still abit standoffish with
men. but willing to give you a chance. She has put on quiet abit of weight and now is almost TOO fat. She is hopefully bred
and due in Feb..the daddy is our boy Scout.

Scout's story:
Scout is not a rescue, his momma was trained by me, and he was a bonus prize, we where unaware of her pregnancy
till a few months before he hit the ground when we noticed she was having back problems do to a slipped disc that Scout's
weight was pulling down on.
Scout is referred to around the barn as the "Man Child" he is a 4 year old Pinto and is a perfect gentleman,
weather he be out in the paddock with other studs or geldings or if My oldest son (now 4) is riding him. He never tries anything
and the only bad habit is when he whinnies at his buddies when they get out of site. He loves being groomed and spoiled and
we love doing it.He is also...fingers crossed...going tobe a new daddy in Feb.
